1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GLIPH website and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

2. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide us with information that is accurate, complete, and current. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Content

Our Service allows you to upload, submit, store, send, and receive content, including glyph sheets and other related materials ("Your Content"). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in Your Content. When you upload or submit Your Content to our Service, you grant GLIPH a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (such as those resulting from our AI processing), communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute such content. This license is for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our Service, and to develop new ones. Make sure you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any content that you submit to our Service.

5. Prohibited Uses

Please note that GLIPH is currently in a beta phase. While we strive for accuracy and stability, you should expect some variance in results and potential bugs. Your use of the Service during this beta phase acknowledges and accepts these conditions. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the Terms. You agree not to use the Service:

• In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
• For the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content or otherwise.
• To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any "junk mail," "chain letter," "spam," or any other similar solicitation.
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate GLIPH, a GLIPH employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
• In any way that infringes upon the rights of others, or in any way is illegal, threatening, fraudulent, or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose or activity.
• To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm or offend GLIPH or users of the Service or expose them to liability.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of GLIPH and its licensors. Users retain full ownership of all intellectual property rights in the fonts they create using the Service. GLIPH's license to Your Content (as described in Section 4) is solely for the purpose of processing and delivering the Service, and does not transfer ownership of your created fonts to GLIPH. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of GLIPH.

7. Disclaimer Of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. GLIPH makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of their Service, or the information, content, or materials included therein. You expressly agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

8. Limitation Of Liability

In no event shall GLIPH, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of South Dakota, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Beta Terms

GLIPH is currently offered as a beta service. This means the service is still under development and may contain bugs, errors, or interruptions. We are continuously working to improve the service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

During the beta phase, GLIPH is offered at a promotional price of $5/month. Users who subscribe during the beta period will lock in this promotional price for the lifetime of their subscription, provided their subscription remains active and continuous. If a subscription is cancelled and then re-activated after the beta phase concludes, the promotional pricing may no longer apply, and the user may be subject to current standard pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing for new users after the beta phase concludes.

By using the beta service, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with beta software, including potential data loss or service unavailability. We encourage users to report any bugs or issues encountered to help us improve the service.

12. Service Credits

GLIPH operates on a credit-based system for certain actions within the Service, such as uploading font sheets for processing.

• Each user receives an initial allocation of 10 free credits upon account creation, which do not require a credit card to obtain.
• Subscribed users typically receive 500 credits per month.
• Uploading a font sheet for processing consumes 5 credits.
• Credits are reset monthly on the same date as your subscription renewal and do not roll over. Unused credits will expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle.
• In the event of service unavailability or technical issues preventing credit usage, GLIPH will assess on a case-by-case basis whether credit adjustments are warranted.
• GLIPH reserves the right to modify credit costs or allocations at any time, with reasonable notice to users.
